Dragonfly: A Call to Change

Dragonfly2While walking through a grocery store parking lot, something flickered in the corner of my eye, catching my attention. Something filmy, paper thin, translucent. It flapped in the wind, just barely caught by the cracked pavement. I bent to look closer. A perfect pair of dragonfly wings. I dropped to my knees, forgetting for a moment where I was. A cry of joy and surprise slipped from my mouth. A sense of urgency prompted me to cup my hands, protecting it from the wind. It could fly off at any moment. Awe filled me; completely undamaged by whatever had destroyed the rest of it’s body, these wings maintained such amazing detail. Brown veins honeycombed transparent nothingness, creating form. Before I knew what I was doing, I slipped my camera out of it’s case, replacing it carefully with these wings.

What medicine! Instantly, I knew this gift wasn’t just for me. It was for all people; it was upon me to share it.

“Nymphs” born in water, Dragonflies unite air and water. Intellect and emotion. Delicate rainbow iridescent wings evoke a feeling of magic and otherworldliness.  And they are of the other world, bringing the wisdom to see through the illusion of what we consider reality into our true nature. To sight a Dragonfly is to foretell a time of great transformation.

As it has been written, so let it be.

We as a species, we as an Earth family, are posed on the brink of transformation. Dragonfly is here to remind us that we CAN DO THIS. As god-beings, it is our privilege to initiate change through free will and the power within our thoughts, actions, dreams, and hearts. So many people want change. So many people crave a new way of being, a new way of existing in this plane. So many people yearn to be truly who they are, to be one with Spirit.

We can achieve all our goals.

But the changes must begin within each person. Change yourself, change your life, change the world. Don’t be afraid. Open to the everyday magic around and within you. Look with unclouded eyes through illusion into what is and what can be. The world doesn’t have to be this way. There is no such thing as "that’s the way it is”. Things are the way they are because enough people believe it to be true.

What would happen if more people truly believed in the innate goodness of humanity? What would happen if more people began to see animals, plants, trees, and stones as our friends, brothers, sisters, and grandmothers? What would happen if, rather than speaking empty words, we each acted with love?

What would happen if you lived your dream as if it were reality?

Hold my hand. Together, let us jump off this present reality, let us dive through illusion into a world that we have created with love from our fully awakened state as divine beings.

To ALL My Relations:

Blessed be!
