Since I began this journey of serving the world through spiritual healing, I have struggled with accepting money as an exchange. REQUESTING money as an exchange for my work has been almost impossible for me.  Yet I have also felt strongly that this is the work that I am meant to do, which put me in quite a conundrum (you know, living in this physical world).

Recently, I have been asking for help shifting my energies around my 3rd chakra. I would very much like to be able to live, easily, in this world. I would like to be able to buy what I want to buy and go where I want to go.

Two weeks ago, I made a new connection with someone in need of help. I freely offered my time and services, as usual, helping him connect with St. Germain. It felt good to me to do so.  A few days later, the same person contacted me and asked again for my help receiving a message from St. Germain. I of course wanted to help him and “tuned in” as we say, to see what information there was available. I felt St. Germain’s energies immediately and was flabbergasted to feel him refuse to give me the message. That had never happened before! When I asked why, genuinely astounded, St. Germain spoke to me very clearly, “You must ask for an exchange.”

So, hesitantly, I did. Well, actually, I told him St Germain told me to, without actually asking for an exchange. But, I did stick with my intention to allow the person I’m working with to look within and decide what they will give. I didn’t ask for money and I didn’t mention that I have a paypal. I waited  for him to decide what to do. What really amazed me, was, rather than denounce me as a fraud (I mean, truly spiritual people don’t ask for money right?) he exuberantly agreed with St. Germain. He said he was “convinced it is quite necessary and [the] proper way to proceed”.

Imagine my shock.

And when he made a $50 donation immediately into my paypal, the energy accompanying it was amazing. The energy within me shifted and the session went so smoothly. I felt…. valuable.

Then, a few days ago, while channeling for a friend that I frequently work for free for (this doesn’t bother me, I love him), he jokingly asked Adama why he hasn’t received a 80 page book of information on his various lives and lessons learned. Adama replied, very clearly, “I wouldn’t give  Selene that much information without a monetary exchange.” My friend understood what Adama was saying, but I was OMGing. I mean, can you get any more clear than that?

How can I keep not asking for exchange when the Masters are so clearly expressing their desire that I do so?

Its not like the Masters have told me I HAVE to charge people for energy work or channeling or whatever it is that I do. But if I genuinely want to follow their example, clearly I need to consider these experiences carefully.

I still want to take this issue on a case by case issue. Of course I will help those who cannot afford to make a financial exchange. But the masters would not demand that I deny those in need of help.

Instead, I need to not only open my channels for receiving, but I need to clearly delineate my value and the value of my work. Yes,  I am frustrated with the way this world is structured, and yes I believe that it will change within my life time. But this is the world I live in right now. I need $ to buy a plane ticket, I can’t teleport yet. I want to live in this world, now, and stop pretending that I live somewhere else.

So, I guess, this is me, declaring myself worthy of being paid for my services.

I’m not exactly sure what that means for now, other than I’m setting an intention to invite financial abundance into my life. Wish me luck.
